UNCENSORED VIDEO | Islamic State beheads David Haines
The Islamic State (IS, in English) released this Saturday night on the Internet, in video, the beheading of British aid worker David Cawthorne Haines. The recording is titled "Calling America's allies." It is also threatening to execute his compatriot and professional colleague, Alan Henning, if the UK Prime Minister David Cameron "persists in combat" IS.
Haines, 44 and Scottish origin, was kidnapped in March 2013 on a humanitarian mission with the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED). Previously it had developed its work in Libya and Sudan. As detailed hours earlier Foreign Office Commonwealth (FCO) the IS had rejected all attempts to contact them issued by the family of David Haines.
Again the same dismal scenery: desert landscape - identified by some experts as Raqqa, Syrian stronghold IS - an executioner with a British accent threatening the West and the hostage, kneeling, with orange nightgown Guantanamo detainees. "I declare that I hold you, David Cameron, full responsibility for my execution," pronounced Haines apparently imposed following a script.
